Samples
Samples are sent as a means for the customer to see the quality of the products we offer only. Due to all the variables in design and print, we cannot guarantee that your order will replicate a sample previously received.

Time Scales
Once we have received your order information and deposit, we aim to get your first design proofs to you within one week of your design date subject to speedy booking. Once the final proof has been approved, your hand printed and assembled stationery will be delivered within 2-6 weeks – we will give you a better estimate at the time of your order. We make every effort to ensure that your order is processed and sent as quickly as possible. Unfortunately, these timings may change due to circumstances beyond our control, but we will always keep you updated on your order.

Packaging
CCD uses as much recycled materials as possible to package deliveries. This includes refused cardboard boxes and reused bubble wrap. While it is not the prettiest packaging, it is good for the environment which is of utmost importance. 

Delivery
All orders are sent either via recorded delivery or courier. These parcels are insured to the full value of the contents, however CCD is not responsible for any delivery issues caused by client error – including any incorrect delivery addresses supplied by the client, or deliveries signed for by neighbours and/or left in ‘safe spaces’. Please ensure someone will be able to sign for your package at the time of delivery, or use a work address where you will be able to sign at the time or delivery. 

International Delivery
CCD cannot be held responsible for delays caused by international shipping, nor are we liable for any custom fees or import duties. Please note that international deliveries may exceed expected delivery time.

Ownership
All stationery, artwork and designs are the copyright of Camilla Dovey Design's. All rights reserved and they may not be reproduced in any form without the prior written permission of Camilla Dovey Design's. Any improper or illegal use of the stationery, artwork or designs will be pursued.

Credits & Promotion
CCD reserve the right to include photos of final invitations and other designed goods in their portfolio including photos shared on social media and copies in sample packs. If you do not want photos of your stationery to be shared please do let us know.

 

Problems with your order
Please check all stationery upon receipt. Although extremely rare, any damage or miscounted stationery must be highlighted within two days of delivery.

Proof Approval
CCD provides 3 rounds of proof revisions, for both bespoke and House Collection design suites, if further proofs are required after this time there is a charge of £20 per proof. Once first proofs have been completed, any major changes to design – for example choosing a different suite, or a drastic change – will be counted as a separate project, and work for these additional proofs will be charged at an hourly rate of £30 per hour. Final proofs for print are sent to you via Trello or email, using the wording and layout that we will have discussed and the information you have provided. Please note that you are responsible for checking your proofs before approving them and this includes the layout, wording, spelling and grammar. You are also responsible for checking that the details, and numbers ordered, in your final invoice are correct. We suggest that you also have a friend or family member check your proofs and that you both view these online and print them using the ‘actual size’ option on your printer to ensure you are happy with the size of all type. If designs are approved and signed off with typos or errors and subsequently printed, CCD will not take responsibility for these errors. If replacements are required after approval of a final proof, they will be charged for in full. We will always print as per the proof that you have approved. Unless CCD deviates from your approved proof, a reprint will not be offered.

Print & Colour
Computer monitors and web browsers vary greatly, and the colours used in the PDF proofs of your stationery may appear differently in person, once they have been foiled or digitally printed. Proofs printed are checked on a home printer are not guaranteed to be an accurate representation of items printed on a professional press. All printing, both digital and foiled, may have an allowable variation of 3mm, this is print industry standard. Printing may occur in house, or by one of our trusted print partners. Large scale items such as table plans are always printed externally. Please note that the colour of externally printed items may differ slightly to that of the stationery produced in house. If reprints and/or extra invitations of digitally printed items are required at a later date, CCD cannot guarantee exact colour matching to previous print runs, this is due to print press calibration.

Payment
Payment is required for all work to begin. Orders under £200 will be taken in full. The remaining balance is required prior to items being sent to print. No orders will be sent to print, nor shipped before payment has been made in its entirety.

Order Cancellation
Your 50% payment is a non-refundable fee which covers all design work. Should you decide to cancel an order once design work has been undertaken, refunds of this deposit are at the discretion of CCD. Orders that have already been sent to print are non-refundable.

Privacy Policy

Camilla Dovey Design's takes your privacy very seriously.

This policy lays out what data we hold, how we use it, how our partners use it, how long we hold your data for, how it is protected and how you can request to change or delete this data.

What data do I hold & how is this protected?
CDD uses both email and Trello to gather data. The email data that we hold includes your name, telephone and email address, along with dates of your event, this data can be collated via our contact form and order form online. This data is protected by password and only accessible by staff who are required to use it for purposes of design and accounts.
The data held in Trello can include your address, guests addresses, and further details regarding your wedding/event. All data is visible to you at all times, and can be deleted by you at any time. It is only held in Trello and no where else. Trello boards are private to you and CDD, and only accessible by those invited by email.

How can you change or remove your data?
You can make this request by email at any time.

How we use your data & how we share it with partners
Your data is used to create your stationery. Depending on the method of print that you choose, the data that is relevant to printing your stationery, can be shared with our print partners. TGL has ensured that our print partners also have up to date privacy policies that adhere to the GDPR.
We may use your completed stationery to showcase online on our website, social media and at events where we showcase our stationery. When used online we endeavour to ensure this does not show full details of your event and you may ask for this to be not be used or removed at any time.
Your printed stationery may be used in sample packs. We do not include RSVP’s with addresses or any invitations or details sheets that include private data such as addresses, email addresses and wedding websites.

How long do we hold your data for?
CDD holds your personal data on a trello board up to the date of your event at which point it is archived. This is then permanently deleted one year after your wedding date.
Print files are kept for a year after your event date.

How do I order?

You can order online via my website, or make an enquiry via email or through the enquiry form below. You can order book a free consultation to talk about what you'd like to order to. If you require business branding or wedding stationery I recommend booking a consultation so I can understand exactly what your vision is.

Do you offer samples? 

Yes I order wedding samples, they include a selection of samples from the house collection. Please specify if there are certain samples you wish to view. Sample packs start from £10.

How many invites do I need?

I always suggest one invitation per household unless the circumstances are different, couple or individual, plus an extra 15% - 20%. This  allows for keepsakes and any last minute additions – reprinting.

Do I need anything for the consultation about business branding?

You mainly need just yourself! However it is handy to have some reference images saved, and notes on what you want from the meeting or any questions you wish to ask. A clear understanding of where you want to business branding to go and how you envision it is also a great start. Don't worry if you don't have this 100% yet, that's what I'm here to help you with and worth through. 

Can you copy this design?

I am happy to work from a design and change it to make it unique for you. However due to copywriter I cannot copy a design like for like.
